3. The Square At this stage of our study of these spiritual symbols we come to the square, in which opposition to unconscious mechanical behavior has become permanent, and a person begins to take conscious actions all in one direction, which is spiritual development. 4. The Pentagram The 5 points of the pentagram represent the five centers of the human organism: the mental, emotional, moving, instinctive, and sex centers. The pentagram becomes a reality for the spiritual traveler when the work of the 5 centers becomes balanced, and the person becomes a whole and complete human being. 5. The Six Pointed Star (Seal of Solomon) The pentagram state leads to the Seal of Solomon, two inverted triangles on top of each other. This is the last of these spiritual symbols, in which a person comes into contact with the sixth principle which is communion with objective consciousness or God. At this point you become a closed system, all knowledge and action coming from your direct link to the Devine and Eternal. This is opposed to the first state in which you started when all influences came from the world of duality, and mechanical randomness was the course of action. These spiritual symbols are limited in their ability to convey the reality of these states. They are not complete explanations but more signs pointing the way to the true understanding of these states, which is experience. An Experience Now draw these symbols out and try gazing at the symbols with the understandings we just read about held in mind. Hold the form of the symbol in your mind and in your heart, and let new knowledge come to you. This will begin to give us more knowledge than we have read here, we will begin to get a taste and a feel of what it is to embody one of these spiritual symbols.
