Whether you see these symbols live and up close or just see a miniature or photograph of it, they still get most people thinking and feeling.

I will share examples of how I have used this method successfully both for myself and for satisfied clients.
Since I live in the New York City area, there are many symbols that we could chose. I also know that freedom is a very important element in my life. If I could be wildly successful financially, yet it cost me my freedom I would hate it. So for me, freedom and adventure are important parts of who I am and how I live my life. So chose a symbol that embodies that quality you want, need or want more of in your life.

For instance, The Statue of Liberty can be a green statue in the middle of an island in the middle of a body of water. Or it can symbolize freedom! Also, since it was given to us by others it can symbolize being gracious about getting gifts and being worthy of getting gifts. It can also symbolize good communication and even connection. The statue is made of copper and has long turned green the way copper does and green often symbolizes money. Also, since I ride the Staten Island Ferry a few times a day each week I see Lady Liberty there greeting me faithfully and it helps me to maintain my focus on freedom, success and great communication. I visited the Statue a few times and it is a kind of Adventure and so each time I see the statue I get a good feeling inside.

Ellis Island is right near The Statue of Liberty and that is also a place with a lot of History and rich in symbolism (freedom to pursue a better way of life, a new beginning, etc.)

A little while after getting off the Ferry I find yet another powerful symbol awaiting me (usually with many tourists who also feel something powerful about this symbol) The Wall Street Bull (charging bull is VERY powerful and huge!) represents financial strength and power. It is right near Bowling Green park that you could see as a symbol of nature. Nature and animals are very important to me and it feels like a balance between different elements in life. This could feel like permission to be wildly successful, while still enjoying freedom and adventure.

So with NLP and Hypnosis and Self Hypnosis I take these symbols that are already there and I notice how they make me feel. Then I research them and discover even more reasons for how these symbols radiate a certain quality. I amplify this through deep breathing and visualizing my goals of freedom, adventure and success.

Also, they sell miniature bulls and statue of liberty so I have a few of them and they are also charged with this type of NLP Hypnosis ritual so that I not only get encouragement when I see or walk past the actual symbol, I get to carry a bit of it with me where ever I go. Just taking out the miniature key chain gives me a powerful and good feeling and even just imagining it can give you a small part of it.

One client did not like tourists, so we used NLP reframing so he could enjoy the symbol and the tourists reminded him of how much money NYC makes in tourism and the Bull can be a very strong Money Magnet!

So make a list of symbols that already give you a good feeling that will help you reach and maintain your goals and then charge it with deep breathing and visualization of how seeing it or even just thinking of the symbol instantly gets you feeling better and better.
