Celtic Symbol of Power The Celts held nature sacred and paid special attention to animals that they believed possessed power and strength. By symbolizing these animals they believed these traits would be passed onto them. Unicorns were endowed with different powers ranging from virility to healing, joy and life. The horse was associated with victory and power in war while the Raven had the power to create and protect. Celtic warriors in particular used these symbols in war.
